Cranberry Currant Chutney

A flavor explosion of fruit, fresh Hawaiian ginger and warm spices makes this a welcome change from traditional cranberry sauce. The balance of sweet, sour, spice and salt complement roast duck, pork or curries. It also makes a stellar turkey sandwich with cream cheese. Serve it as an appetizer with a log of goat cheese rolled in nuts with crackers, or blend it with a little nut oil for an amazing Asian style sweet-sour salad dressing.
